Creating Lines Creating Single Lines Single lines created with the Line tool can be drawn constrained to certain angles or unconstrained. To create single lines: 1. Click the Line tool from the Basic palette. 2. Click either the Constrained Line or the Unconstrained Line mode button. Constrained lines are drawn at 30¡, 45¡, and 90¡ angles, and their complements are drawn in increments of 30¡, and 45¡. Unconstrained lines can be drawn at any angle. Press and hold the Shift key while drawing a line in Unconstrained mode to snap the line to predetermined angles. 3. Click at the line’s start point. 4. Click at the line’s end point.
